The Islamic Relations Coordinator of the World Evangelical Alliance (WEA), Dr. Esther Schirrmacher, held an introductory seminar on Islam at Martin Bucer Seminary (MBS) in Tirana (Albania) on August 30, 2023.
The seminar, held in English, was attended not only by the Albanian students of the seminar, but also by other people who had come especially to learn about this topic. The content of the seminar included the origin of Islam and Islamic currents, Islamic dogmatics and ethics, as well as the comparison of Islam and Christianity.
In addition to her work at the World Evangelical Alliance, she is Fund Manager at the aid organization SOS World and an academic staff member at the International Institute for Religious Freedom (IIRF).
