It was with great sadness and shock that the World Evangelical Alliance (WEA) leadership received the news of the death of our dear friend and colleague, Prof. Dr. Corneliu Constantineanu, in Romania.
A memorial service was held on June 19 for Dr. Ken Gnanakan, former General Secretary of the Asia Theological Association (1991–2001) and longtime contributor to the World Evangelical Alliance’s work, who died suddenly on May 9 after preaching at an online service.
The World Evangelical Alliance (WEA) joins the Evangelical Alliance of the United Kingdom in mourning the passing of Rev. Dr. Joel Edwards and paying tribute to a man who lived for God’s Kingdom and is leaving behind a legacy of influence in countless people’s lives in the UK and the world.
