Attached the greetings by myself (with nice words about Frank Heinrich) and by Frank Heinrich, member of the German federal parliament (with nice words about me) – we did not know what the other would say!
While receiving his ThD-degree from the hands of Thomas Schirrmacher Dr Behnan Konutgan, BA, MA, ThD, President of Martin Bucer Seminary Turkey, was surprised by being installed as honorary life member of the Royal Ghassanid Academy of Arts and Science (Jordan).
In the main building of the Swiss Federal Institute for Technology Zurich (ETH) in a guest lecture organized by the vbg Christlicher Hochschulverein Zürich (a Christian university association in Zurich) and Martin Bucer Seminary on the topic of “Ethics without God? How much Belief do Human Rights need?”, the President of the International Council of the International Society of Human Rights and Ambassador for Human Rights of the World Evangelical Alliance, Thomas Schirrmacher, underscored the term and the message behind “human rights.”
Thomas Schirrmacher, Rector of the Martin Bucer Seminary, in an address before the 200 delegates at the general assembly of the Swiss Pentecostal Mission (Schweizerische Pfingstmission, or SPM) at the Christian Center Buchegg, emphasized that in his view the time for missions has not ended but has really just begun.
For this reason, we are repeatedly asked by Christians tending to associate the term predestination with undesirable developments to explain where the Martin Bucer Seminar stands on the doctrine of predestination. Here is our response.
