Christine and Thomas Schirrmacher from the leadership team of the World Evangelical Alliance (WEA) visited the Hawaiian islands of O‘ahu and Hawaii/Big Island on the trails of the first Christian missionaries.
As representatives of the World Evangelical Alliance (WEA), Thomas and Christine Schirrmacher visited the national Evangelical Alliances of Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea.
In a double guest lecture at PTS College & Advanced Studies in Dasmarinas City, Philippines, the representatives of the World Evangelical Alliance responsible for Islam and for Theological Education, Christine and Thomas Schirrmacher, together with the college management discussed the question of how the subject of Islam could be taken into greater account in the curriculum.
Thomas Schirrmacher has now published in English his speech “Integration is Possible,” delivered at the award ceremony for famous Muslim Professor Bassam Tibi at the University of Frankfurt on November 21, 2019.
